                                         ABOUT US

Thank you for your interest in my puppies.  It is my goal to raise happy, healthy, well adjusted puppies, so they can grow in loving, healthy adult dogs.  I wanted a white dog and there were three that I narrowed it down to.  The Bichon Frise, the Maltese, and  the West Highland Terrier.  I decided to get a Bichon.  I found out they were hypoallergenic and that there were many people with allergies and respiratory conditions that were looking for hypoallergenic dogs. I decided to start breeding Bichons.  Later on I got a Maltese, and eventually, I purchased the West Highland Terrier.  The Westie is NOT hypoallergenic, but who could resist that face and those ears.  They have an undercoat but I really haven't noticed that they shed very much. Now I needed males and finding a good stud became a problem so I decided to purchase my own male studs.  My first web site was
A couple of years later, a friend came to stay with me for awhile.  She had a Yorkie and a red short hair Min. Dachshund. Her Yorkie had pups and I took one of them.  When she left I missed the little Dachshund so much, I decided to get my own.  I got my first little female Dachshund.  I then acquired a male Dachshund to be the stud.  So now I couldn't use the name Kathy's White Angels because the Yorkie and Dachshund were not WHITE.  I then made a web site for KATHY'S PRECIOUS LITTLE ANGELS.COM.

I soon started getting requests for mixed breeds. I looked up information about Designer Dogs. People were requesting Morkies, Maltichons, and Westie mixes either with a Bichon or a Maltese.  So I started doing Designer Dogs. So before   long  I had created another web site www.Kathys Designer
I still do purebred Dachshunds however and alternate  the Westie with a litter of pure breds, Weechons (westie/bichon) and Highland Maulties (westie/maltese). My most popular Designer Dog is the Maltichon, The second most popular is the Morkie, and then the third most common is a Westie or one of the Westie mixes.

So to make things simple, I have combined all the websites into one;  Some of the other websites are still active but I won't be renewing them when it comes time.  So now my hobby keeps me pretty busy but I love every minute of it.
Most importantly, I want it known that I am not a puppy mill. All my dogs live in my house and are my personal pets. They are my "children with fur."   I have lots of land for them to run and play. When I built my house, I built a special room for my dogs where I do my breeding.
I am a big animal lover and enjoy breeding.  I am a responsible breeder as I tell anyone who buys a puppy from me, that if there situation changes and they can't take care of the dog, and can't find it a home, they can return it to me and I will keep it until I find it a home.  It says in my contact NOT to drop any of my puppies/dogs at a shelter.  As long as I have a home, my puppies have a home.  If any of you are feeling "torn" if you should get the kind of dog you want or rescue a dog from the shelter, I want you to know  that I think everyone should have the dog of their choice.
Some people like to rescue a dog and yet other find it very hard to find the type of dog they are looking for in a shelter. (Such as Designer Dogs and Hypoallergenic dogs.
Some people just want to raise a puppy, not an older dog, (where they don't know its history).  I breed these Designer Dogs so you can have the type of dog you want.  You will know its history and that if was brought into the world with love.  BUT we don't want to forget about all the dogs out there still looking for a home, so I  take a percentage of what you pay for your puppy and donate it to to The Humane Society, ASPCA, and other Rescue organizations.
